CH Group Foundation awards 250 scholarships for the 2026 academic year
The CH Group Foundation has awarded 250 scholarships for the 2026 academic year, its largest single intake to date. The awards cover tuition, books and boarding costs for senior high school and tertiary students drawn from all sixteen regions.
Selection was weighted toward students in communities that host group operations, including Tema, Takoradi and the Greater Accra municipalities served by Meade Environmental. A third of this year's awards are ring-fenced for students pursuing engineering, environmental science and technology.
"Access is still the binding constraint," said a foundation spokesperson at the award ceremony in Accra. "A place at a good school should not depend on whether a family can find the fees in September."
Scholars join a mentoring programme that pairs them with staff across the group's operating companies, and the foundation intends to open applications for the 2027 cycle in January.
